Downton Abbey
Season 2 premiered here last night, and oh, it was so good!
When I watched the first season, I didn't know it was the first season - I thought all would be resolved by the end of the last episode. So I was horrified when the last scene faded with so many things unresolved - until the next image came up: Season 2 is in production now. Phew!
And I just learned that there will be a third season, so now I'm prepared for there still to be some unresolved issues by the end of this season. I can live with that.

I did the exact same thing and had the same horrified reaction!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week.
And there is a 2hr special, which we had a Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteElizabeth and I watched the first season just last week as it was replayed. We knew there was more coming, but even so, waiting from Wednesday to last night for the next season felt like an eternity.
ReplyDeleteI heard about Downton Abbey recently and caught up with pbs.com. So many characters and so much potential for plot and character development!

I'll have to get on pbs.org and see when they have it available for watching online. Mr. M and I loved the first series - he for the story, I for the costumes, which were stunning.
ReplyDeleteI really thought the eldest daughter would have turned up pregnant by the Turkish dude - wouldn't that have been properly dramatic and traumatic? But apparently the writers did not agree.
oh i loved it all too...i heard about the christmas special and was green with envy as we didn't get it here.
